The Town of Clifton Forge amended the Town Code of ordinances in 2024, in order to bring the town into conformance with state mandates. The amendments to the Code include clarification for when an Erosion & Sediment Control plan is required and when one is not, performance bonds, monitoring of a site, as well as penalties and fines for violations.
